Nature is complex. Each element relies on the next with microorganisms as important as the larger species. All are connected like individual pieces of a giant jigsaw that fits beautifully together. But when one element is affected, there is a ripple effect throughout.
Sadly, many people never get to see the beauty of nature, they always miss that one vital element.
Nature lovers often feel a sense of fear, and frustration. That’s understandable. Life on this planet is seriously at risk.
We are an intrinsic part of the natural world and so, if we hurt nature we only hurt ourselves. Yet many people still need to realise this.
That’s why we must be prepared to stand up for nature in any way we can. To do that, we need the facts. We need clear thinking and a plan.
There is still hope.
We can play a play a vital role in nature recovery simply by creating the right environment for nature in the garden. Or we can spread the joy of nature with our words and our images.
This space is to educate, inform, and encourage. It is a place where those who care about the planet can feel a part of something.
Nature is beautiful. It is inspiring, relaxing, and amazing.
My view is that the more we learn about the environment, and the natural world, the greater the effort in protecting it. After all, we only have One Planet.
